The system effectively filters out sub-nanometer particles, including iron, hydrogen sulfide, iron bacteria, heavy metals, and undissolved calcium and magnesium, while eliminating lime and scale buildup from plumbing, water heaters, appliances, and showers. It also removes unpleasant tastes and odors linked to compounds like iron, sulfur, geosmin, and cyanobacteria, enhancing overall water quality.
This system treats water throughout the entire house, providing safer, cleaner water for drinking, bathing, cleaning, watering plants, filling pools, and washing vehicles. Unlike reverse osmosis systems, the EZ Water System preserves essential minerals like calcium and magnesium, but without the usual hard water scaling associated with these elements.
The EZ Water System backwashes and cleans itself. The all natural media will last for decades with no need for replacement. The only required routine maintenance is replacing the add-on filter cartridges if needed to remove chlorine, chloramines, VOCs, or fluoride from municipal water. These cartridges typically last 1-3 months in normal conditions, but when placed behind our System they will normally last 3-6 months. We have even had some go over a year without replacement.
The essential minerals of calcium and magnesium that are dissolved in your water remain, however their properties are changed so that they do not cause scaling or spotting like hard water does.
